Falwell dead = best day ever

oh my god!! He's dead! Jerry Falwell is dead! I can hardly believe it!

When Cassie called and told Sarah and I, I had a reaction to it very similar to when Strom Thurmond and Ronald Regan died - I believe we celebrated both of those events at the WC - to bad we weren't all together yesterday to raise a glass. What a terrible asshole.

On an equally appealing note, Sarah and I are going to the US Social Forum at the end of June in Atlanta. There's also going to be a totally rad queer fest at the same time - MondoHomo. Funny, huh? Anyway, if you're interested, I think we should round up as many Midwest folks as possible and head south. C'mon...

Awwwww, shit. I tried calling you about seven times yesterday to talk to you about this. Dave and Lisa actually told me that I can't celebrate someone's death, which in turn, made me want to kill both of them. And I JUST KNEW you would feel the same way. I did think the occassion deserved drinking. I even pondered looking up places in Chicago that I thought might be out celebrating. Instead, I spent the evening alone, wishing I was home if for no other reason than to celebrate his death with you and Sarah.

I was just sad it wasn't Fred Phelps. Oh well, we can always hope for next time! :D

I think I'm more glad (gladder) that it was Falwell and not Phelps. I mean, Falwell was actually convincing people to follow him. Phelps doesn't have anyone other than his inbred family.
